Pheasant Feathers represents a lifetime retrospective of my instrumental fingerstyle guitar compositions. These songs are presented for you on a reverse timeline showing. While I’ve recorded and released music with Ciervo Duo, Momonita and Paper Crane in the past, the chance to put down my own songs has long eluded me.

Pheasant Feathers is very much a story of personal growth and expression. It was recorded at my home between April and July of 2020, though some songs date back over a decade. All songs were composed, performed, arranged and recorded by your humble narrator, Ozzwald P. Ozzington. By their nature, these songs were recorded in single playthrough takes with only one guitar playing at a time.

I would like to thank Rachel Deery for her unending love and inspiration. I’d like to thank my parents for their support when I decided to pursue music. Special thanks to Alex McDevitt, Evan Deery, Ryan Weeks, Jorsh Daidone, Kevin Smethers, Justin Newcomer, Kirby Sybert and Jen Pisano for their influence on my musical development.
